Associate Professor of Philosophy of Language at University of Messina, where she teaches different courses among which Theory of Language and Communication.
Her research interests include cognitive science, language, evolutionism and human nature.
Her publications as an author include Natural History of Love (Carocci, 2010), Disfigured Politicians. Political Communication and Cognitive Science (Mimesis, 2012); Evolutionary Psychology. From the Pleistocene Brain to the Modern Mind (Carocci, 2017); Verbal Language and the Political Unconscious (RIFL, 2012); (with A. Plebe, P. Since 2020, she has been a member of CIRM - Inter-University Center for Metaphor Research. She is vice-president of the Italian Philosophical Society - SFI (Palermo section).
